SL Green Expands Leasing Department

Natasha Brown Joins as Vice President 

New York, NY – October 23, 2015 – - SL Green Realty Corp (NYSE: SLG) today announced that Natasha Brown, a leasing professional with more than 15 years of transactional experience representing a wide diversity of prestigious tenants, has joined SL Green’s leasing group as a Vice President. 

Ms. Brown will oversee daily leasing activity  of a ten-building portfolio covering more than eight million square-feet including 1 Madison Avenue, 11 Madison Avenue, 1515 Broadway, 485 Lexington Avenue, 750 Third Avenue and 521 Fifth Avenue.  

“Natasha’s knowledge, experience and industry contacts make her a perfect complement to the deep bench of  leasing professionals on the SL Green team who know and understand Manhattan’s ever changing real estate market,” said Steven Durels, executive vice president and director of leasing and real property.        

Prior to joining SL Green, Ms. Brown was a Senior Vice President at Jones Lang LaSalle for the past seven years where as a tenant representative broker, she was involved in every aspect of commercial leasing for such prominent tenants as Invesco, Maverick Capital, Reservoir Capital and Lexington Partners to name a few.  She also was a portfolio manager for tenants including JP Morgan Chase, Pfizer and Ace American Insurance.     

Before that, she was a tenant representative broker for The Staubach Company, successfully completing transactions totaling over 2.5 million square feet worth an aggregate of $275 million.  And, earlier in her career, she was a paralegal with the law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison.          

Ms. Brown earned a Master’s Degree at Columbia University where she focused on real estate development, and an undergraduate degree at Cornell University.          

Professional affiliations include:  Board member and Secretary of Civitas, an Upper East Side/East Harlem organization devoted to sensible urban planning/zoning; Board President of Search & Care, an Upper East Side/ East Harlem organization providing support to help older residents remain in place.
